Are you new to UT? An old hand? A staff member? Faculty? No matter who you are, you should check out our new Sustainability Guide! Designed by the lovely Sara Gonzalez and worked on tirelessly by a great group of staff, the guide covers everything from food and farmer’s markets to the Energy Stewards’ hopes for UT Austin’s energy and water consumption, to info about fun green activities around Austin, and tips for living sustainably on campus. This guide is about even more than “just” being “green”–it’s about being a good citizen of UT, from what you eat to how you get around. Speaking of getting around…don’t forget to check out our get involved section to get plugged into the CEC and so much more–and welcome to the Forty Acres, Class of 2017!
If you’re on campus this summer, or attending orientation, be sure to stop by CEC office hours from 1-4 PM every Tuesday! We’d love to talk to you about any and all things green, burnt orange, and beyond!
Here are a few preview shots of the guide…check it out here: http://utenvironment.org/sustainability_guide/
