We have a very busy week coming up in CEC! Wednesday October 23rd is National Campus Sustainability and Thursday October 24th is National Food Day, so we’ll be around campus wearing many hats this week to celebrate these exciting events (and more!) with other environmental organizations and our partners from DHFS and Facilities!
Here’s a brief overview:
Tuesday, October 22:
9am-2pm: Trash to Treasure Sale at the FAC Patio (everything is $1! Bring CASH!)
7pm: Farm-City, State Film Screening at the Concho Community Garden
Wednesday, October 23: Campus Sustainability Day
11:30am-2pm: Ask Jim a Question at the West Mall Rally Space (or tweet @UTAustinGreen or @UTCEC with #AskJim to get your question asked by proxy!)

12pm-3pm: Food Day with ESW & the Food Studies Project in the SAC Lawn; we will be handing out FREE Urban Survival Meal Kits!
(Then join us for our weekly meeting on Wednesday at 6:30pm in PAR 206 where we’ll be making DIY crafts from used cans and eating fun fall themed snacks!)
Thursday, October 24: National Food Day
11am-2pm: Food Day with DHFS at Winship Circle; free cookies!!!
